ZANE BARNES , U9-U12 BOYS ACADEMY DIRECTOR

Joining us for 2026, Zane Barnes has worked within the youth, collegiate, and professional game for over a decade building his teams with a true player-centric approach focused on developing athletes across all levels. Barnes takes pride in supporting player development through technical growth accompanied by a positive and structured training environment so talent at all levels can be propelled to its top potential through both performance and character. Barnes has applied these values across every step of the pyramid from local grassroots clubs to FC Dallas' MLS Academy to the NCAA Division I Program at Winthrop University to the professional game during his time at USL League 1 side Tormenta FC. 

Coach Barnes currently holds the top coaching license offered by the United States Soccer Federation with his USSF A-License, along with holding an Educator License for the USSF D-License which focuses entirely on players in early development (U5-U12). Barnes has been teaching courses for US Soccer in both North and South Carolina since 2022 preparing fellow professionals with the best tools to develop players in this age range. We are extremely excited to have a Coach of Coaches leading our players with practical experience at every step of the competitive pyramid from Grassroots to MLS Academy to DI Collegiate, to the Professional Game.
